First Pics, September 8

Hi All,
Well, I bought this Norris on Craigslist a few weeks ago. This is my eigth Camper I have owned.. I think I may put a picture of the "Eight is Enough" cast inside a cabinet somewhere as an inside joke.. My wife Erika definitely thinks Eight is Enough, but I cant see ever not looking for a new one.. They are all unique, and have their own history. I love all of em!
This Norris is a cool little Camper. It's been hard to find much info on the company, or many other pictures. I live in Boston, and about 6 months ago I found one listed for sale in Western Massachusetts, but it had sold before I was able to rescue it.. No pictures though!
This one is unique in that it is relatively short, about 11 ft long, just longer than a Shasta Compact (I have had one of those), but it is also pretty tall, with 6ft 3" of headroom inside! Also, the camper is wide too, about 75 inches interior width, plenty for me to stretch out in!
The camper at one time had a pressurized water tank, but that is long gone.
Nice 2 way fridge, Magic Chef 3 burner cooktop and heater. The cabinets in this camper are really spacious, and well made.
The countertop is a nice gold sparkled white.. no aluminum trim to the counters or the table, but I plan on adding that and dressing the camper up a bit.
The cone lights above each bench in front are gone, but I have nice Shasta Cone replacements, and fiberglass sconces from a 1964 AstroDome to go in the back (those are gone too). The fiberglass sconces are my favorite lights that I have seen bin a camper, hands down. they give off such a nice warm glow, especially with a nice birch interior, which the Norris will have come springtime!
The frame is VERY beefy.. great shape, and also the camper has an aluminum underbody, just like Airstreams! I think this is a great feature!
I will be posting pics as progress is made, but it may take a few months to get really into it.. there is another 1 1/2 months of camping weather up here, especially with the heater that works great!
Please bookmark me every and check back every so often.
If you have a Norris Camper, or any info about them, I would LOVE to see. Please contact me.
Thanks and Happy Camping!
